For decades, NBA fans have debated whether Michael Jordan is the greatest player of all time.

Jordan’s dominance and the way he imposed fear on every single rival made him a living legend, a guy not many people thought could ever be matched, let alone topped.

But LeBron James has done more than enough to at least be a part of the conversation, and even former NBA players often engage in that debate.

Recently, former Bulls star Charles Oakley chipped in and shared his thoughts.

Oakley started off by stating that Jordan is his best friend and the best to ever do it, but admitted that he would’ve rather played with LeBron James.

Oakley explained that Jordan saw most of his teammates as screeners, passers, and rebounders, as opposed to the most pass-happy LeBron.

Needless to say, that was music to Shannon Sharpe’s ears, as he’s often trying to make a point for LeBron being a better player than Jordan ever was.

Sharpe took Oakley’s words and elaborated his case again, with Undisputed co-host Skip Bayless unfazed by Oakley’s comments.

Of course, to say that Jordan wasn’t a playmaker would be unfair as well.

In fact, he proved to be an elite passer in the few times he was asked to run the point, and he did average 5.3 assists per game per his career.

But hey, everybody’s entitled to their opinion, and it’s obviously more fun to play when you’re also involved in the offense, so we get Oakley’s point here.
