The sports media landscape might be headed for a monumental change.
Most people know that Shannon Sharpe left FS1’s “Undisputed” and is now looking for a new gig with a different company.
Sharpe was liked by many fans on FS1 and he is now getting interest from ESPN and Fanduel.
According to Dov Kleiman, ESPN and Sharpe have talked about a high-profile “contributor” role.
This role would allow Sharpe to go on First Take to debate Stephen A. Smith.

Jumping from FS1 to its biggest rival ESPN would be a major move in the sports media world.
Sharpe has shown that his animated rants do well for ratings.
It seems likely that wherever he ends up will bring the eyes of many interested fans.
Sports debate shows are the new big thing amongst sports media.
Both ESPN and FS1 are full of debate shows throughout the day.
Sharpe carved out a role for himself back in 2016 when he started on “Undisputed.”
Since that point, he and Skip Bayless have been a part of many must-see debates.
These two butted heads time and time again and their relationship deteriorated.
It would be interesting to see what a relationship would be like between Sharpe and Stephen A.
Many sports fans have been calling for those two to team up on First Take.
It appears that may finally happen.
Sharpe may be leaving FS1 but he is far from finished as a sports media figure.
