NBA fans were feeling shocked by the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday evening, and not in a good way.

The team had the best record in the league and was considered favorites to go all the way to the Finals again.

Instead, they were taken out in the first round by Jimmy Butler and his marvelous Miami Heat.

Most people agree that the Bucks fell apart in Wednesday night’s must-win game, collapsing to lose in overtime, 128-126.

On Thursday morning, Shannon Sharpe – and many others – had nothing but negative things to say about Milwaukee.

“A cataclysmic failure for the Bucks. I’ve never seen anything like this. Nobody from the Bucks wanted that basketball last night,” Sharpe said on Thursday’s Undisputed.

There are numerous people calling out the Bucks for a number of reasons.

Even though multiple stars on the team had big nights – Giannis Antetokounmpo had 33 points, Khris Middleton had 33 – the team didn’t seem to be playing with the sort of fire and passion needed for an elimination game.

As it was throughout the entire series, the Bucks were outdone by the Heat.

“This is bad,” Sharpe warned, and it’s hard to disagree with him.

Now that they have been pushed out of the postseason in the opening round, people are wondering if the team will make changes in the summer.

They still have one of the best basketball players alive in Antetokounmpo but they are starting to make a habit of coming up short.

This was supposed to be the year they returned to the Finals but they won’t even get close.

If Sharpe is correct that Wednesday night was a “cataclysmic” failure then it stands to reason that adjustments could be coming in the months ahead.
