One of the more compelling sports talk shows over the last few years has been “Undisputed,” with longtime analyst Skip Bayless and Fox Sports bringing on Hall of Famer Shannon Sharpe to talk about the hottest topics in sports on a daily basis.
Bayless and Sharpe had epic debates over the years, leading to a great dynamic between the two that rivaled when Stephen A. Smith used to go back and forth with Bayless.
Unfortunately, the two didn’t see eye-to-eye on topics once too often, and Sharpe took issue with some of the stances Bayless had that he wouldn’t back down from, leading to the former NFL star stepping down and leaving the show recently.
Since then, Fox Sports has come to terms with another former NFL star, Richard Sherman, to be Sharpe’s main successor on the show, with others filling in as well.
Even though “Undisputed” has its new co-hosts for the time being, Sharpe has yet to land elsewhere despite rumors of him joining Smith on ESPN.
Sharpe broke his silence on social media about his future Wednesday, claiming that he’ll be back on television sooner rather than later.
Don’t worry I’ll be back on tv soon to cover Football season . These vacations are needed but, it’s too hot out here! I’m going back inside to the A/C where there’s cameras, microphones, and @leportiercognac pic.twitter.com/j3GozEsKEm

Even though Sharpe has broken his silence about his future, this does not indicate where he might land but does seem to hint at the fact that he’ll be covering the NFL season.
Whether that means he’ll solely be talking about the NFL from here on out remains to be seen, but it does appear that he may be nearing a decision as to where he’ll like to continue his career off the field.
