There is no doubt that the Los Angeles Lakers will be the underdogs in their upcoming series against the Memphis Grizzlies.

The Grizzlies, who have been strong all season long, are the second seed in the West while the Lakers are the seventh.

Additionally, Memphis is younger, faster, and has something to prove.

But there are numerous people who think that a Lakers victory isn’t out of the question.

NBA analyst Shannon Sharpe believes that LA could pull off a huge win.

“This will be a very hard-fought series but I trust LeBron James over anybody else,” Sharpe said on Undisputed.

Sharpe pointed out the fact that the Lakers now get several days of rest after beating the Minnesota Timberwolves on Tuesday night.

That rest means that James, Anthony Davis, and the rest of the team will be able to let their bodies heal and prepare for a hard and long series.

As for the Grizzlies, they will have a whole week off before the first game in the opening round.

Sharpe said that there is such as thing as “too much rest” and the Grizzlies might be a bit sluggish when the game starts.

James and his team have a lot on the line in the series against Memphis.

The young Grizzlies team is one of the most aggressive and confident in the league and they aren’t afraid to show it.

Dillon Brooks even recently said that he is excited to play against the Lakers and beat them in the first round.

The Lakers, on the other hand, want to show that they can overcome the odds and slow down one of the hottest teams in the Association.
