The Phoenix Suns needed to bounce back after falling in a 0-2 hole on their trip to Denver, and that meant they needed prime Devin Booker on the court.
The 26-year-old star answered the call with incredible back-to-back performances to even things up at two wins apiece.
That’s why NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal had no choice but to tip his hat to Booker, offering him a sincere apology after stating he wouldn’t have another high-volume scoring game with that efficiency.

Booker is making a case for being the best pure scorer in the NBA right now.
He’s been arguably the playoff MVP thus far, even ahead of the Miami Heat’s Jimmy Butler.
It’s not just the offensive outbursts and huge scoring numbers; it’s the efficiency.
Booker has been a walking bucket from all three levels, and he’s just scoring in a variety of ways.
He’s got the iso-game, he can score off-the-dribble, catch-and-shoot, pull-up from mid or long-range, attack and drive to the rim to finish with either hand, and he’s just so crafty at creating separation.
Booker didn’t get the praise and recognition he deserved early in his career because of his team’s struggles and lack of league-wide attention.
But he continues to make huge strides in his game and has even outplayed Kevin Durant throughout the playoffs.
Now, Suns fans will hope he can keep that intensity up when his team heads back to the heights of Colorado for another crucial game vs. the No. 1 seed in the Western Conference.
