Coming into the 2024 NFL season, the Dallas Cowboys are one of the most interesting teams in the league. They are stacked with talent on both sides of the football while also being one of the most controversial teams off of it after a less than stellar offseason shrouded in negativity.

With the Cowboys flaming out in the first round of the NFL playoffs in epic fashion last season, it was thought they would make some drastic moves during the offseason, which also seemed to be the company line from longtime owner Jerry Jones.

However, the organization seemed to pivot off that determination to upgrade the roster while ultimately signing superstar wide receiver CeeDee Lamb to a lucrative long-term contract extension.

Even though the Cowboys didn’t do much to improve their squad, some believe it won’t matter, as they are talented enough to go the distance.

One of those believers in their chances to win it all during the 2024 campaign is NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal, who predicted that Dallas would win the Super Bowl.

“The 2024 Super Bowl Champion Dallas Cowboys. … You wanna put some money on that,” O’Neal said on “The Pat McAfee Show.”

O’Neal is a longtime Cowboys fan, so his opinion is somewhat biased, but Dallas is expected to be a force to be reckoned with again.

The issue is that the Detroit Lions got better, especially on defense, which was their issue last season, and the San Francisco 49ers will be a contender again after ending contract squabbles with Brandon Aiyuk and Trent Williams.

That said, the NFC will be a tough nut to crack this season with heavyweights at the top that the Cowboys will have to get through to justify O’Neal’s prediction.
