Younger NBA fans may not remember, but there was a time when Reebok was one of the most prominent brands in the basketball scene.

Now, their two most iconic athletes are teaming up with the brand to try and make that happen again.

According to a report by Complex Sports (via Legion Hoops), Shaquille O’Neal and Allen Iverson are back with the company that made them signature athletes during their playing days.

BREAKING: Reebok Basketball is re-launching in early 2025 and have recently named Shaq as their President, and Allen Iverson as Vice President.

The pair of Hall of Famers will get some newly created management positions, with Shaq serving as president of basketball and Iverson as his vice president.

Reebok CEO Todd Krinsky started with the company in 1992, which is the same year the Orlando Magic took Shaq with the No. 1 pick, so they obviously have some strong ties together.

Shaq’s success off the court as a businessman has been well-documented, and he’ll bring his expertise for making money and his charisma to a brand that’s looking to regain the ground they lost to Nike and Adidas.

As for Iverson, he’s reportedly set to spearhead player recruitment while also ‘placing a focus on the brand’s presence in grassroots and community initiatives.’

They will also — obviously — sponsor his annual Iverson Classic High School showcase game.

There’s no denying that competing and trying to go toe-to-toe with sports giants like Nike and Adidas will be an uphill battle, even for Reebok.

But they chose two of the most influential and charismatic athletes in NBA history, and they’ll make sure to get them plenty of signature players.
