Being the child of a professional athlete or celebrity comes with perks and downfalls.

One perk is for young athletes to have the ability to get coached at a high level from a young age, hoping they can follow in their parent’s footsteps.

While this can and has yielded great results, it can also lead to a lot of pressure for young athletes.

Some fold under pressure, and are never able to live up to the hype and expectations that have been placed upon them.

One example of this is with the Sanders family.

Deion is viewed as one of the best American athletes in history, leaving his oldest son, Shedeur, to try and replicate the success he had.

Shedeur has shown flashes of brilliance at the collegiate level, which has attracted a lot of attention from national media.

He discussed this in an interview shared by a fan, Karter Baughan via Dov Kleiman on Twitter.

“We know we’re everybody’s Super Bowl,” Shedeur said, adding, “I always stay level-headed, stay grounded, because I just, I would never want to be that guy, look back and not be able to take advantage of the moment that we have right now.”

Shedeur seems to have a level head on his shoulders, especially for someone who is slated to enter the 2025 NFL Draft.

He will likely headline what is said to be a weaker quarterback class, potentially pushing himself up in the draft order.

Will he find a way to live up to these expectations?
