When it comes to baseball, there truly isn’t anything that Shohei Ohtani can’t do.

Ohtani is in his potential walk-year with the Los Angeles Angels and is doing everything he can to help get the team to the postseason in what may be his last year in Halos threads.

Ohtani has already hit 40 home runs and won 10 games as a pitcher.

He earned his 10th win of the season on Wednesday night over the San Francisco Giants as the Angels pulled off a 4-1 victory

Ohtani once again is at the top of an elite all-exclusive list after his dominant performance.

According to Sarah Langs of MLB.com, Ohtani has the most home runs in a single season of any pitcher who was also won 10 games.

most HR hit in season, won 10+ games as a pitcher:

2023 Shohei Ohtani: 40 (10 wins)
2022 Shohei Ohtani: 34 (15)
1918 Babe Ruth: 11 (13)
1931 Wes Ferrell: 9 (22)

This is the second time Ohtani has found himself on this list.

Last year, the two-way star hit 34 home runs and won 15 games as a pitcher.

Prior to that, Babe Ruth was the leader in this category.

Back in 1918, he hit 11 home runs with the Boston Red Sox and won 13 games.

In 1939, Wes Ferrell won 22 games and hit nine home runs.

Ohtani is the only player to appear on this list twice.

But he is the first player since the days of Ruth to be able to hit and pitch effectively at the Major League level.

He also is doing both at the same time.

That is something that nobody has done since Ruth did it.

But true to form, Ohtani is the leader in this elite category.
