It is no secret by now what Shohei Ohtani can do on the baseball field.

The two-way star has been with the Los Angeles Angels since 2018 and has won an MVP Award, a Rookie of the Year Award, A Silver Slugger Award, and has earned two All-Star nods.

So far, the two-way phenom is off to yet another solid start with the Halos.

At the plate, Ohtani is hitting for a .261 average with six home runs, 15 RBI, a slugging percentage of .489, and an OPS of .819.

On Wednesday, Ohtani continued to show off his power, hitting a two-run homer in the bottom of the eighth inning against the Oakland Athletics.

MLB posted a video of the moment on Twitter.

Ohtani simply remains on another level.

Not since Babe Ruth has the game of baseball seen a player with the ability to both hit and pitch at an elite level.

Ohtani is the first ever to do both at the same time.

But the power was on full display on Wednesday as he launched one out to center field.

It just barely snuck over the wall for his sixth home run, but the slugger remains hot at the plate and continues to prove just how special of a player he is and still could be.

The two-way superstar is in the final year of his contract with the Angels and is set to hit free agency in the offseason.

But for now, he’ll stick to hitting home runs and leading the Angels as they attempt to rebound from a tough 2022 season.
