The Los Angeles Lakers had a statement win over the Memphis Grizzlies on Sunday and now lead the opening round 1-0.
On Wednesday, the Lakers and Grizzlies will face off again in Memphis and everyone is wondering if Ja Morant will play.
His status is currently questionable after he suffered a serious hand injury on Sunday.
Because of the possible absence of Morant and LA’s Game 1 win, the Lakers are currently favorites to take Game 2 as well.
But Skip Bayless thinks that the Grizzlies – and one particular star – might impress.
“If Ja cannot go tomorrow night at home in Memphis, I believe Memphis will win. Memphis will rise up with Tyus Jones,” Bayless said on Tuesday’s Undisputed.

Calling Jones the best backup point guard in the league, Bayless said that the Grizzlies are going to claim their first victory in the series.
He noted that he saw Tyus perform very well in person months ago against the Los Angeles Clippers and has been impressed with the star ever since.
For the season, Jones has averaged 10.3 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 5.2 assists.
Bayless pointed out that he has had multiple double-digit assist games since the beginning of March.
Will he have another up his sleeve on Wednesday?
The Lakers certainly run the risk of underestimating the Grizzlies without Morant.
They actually have a very strong track record of winning games when Morant is on the sidelines.
Whether it be Jones or a number of other players, they have the talent required to earn a win even if Morant is injured.
The Lakers can’t take anything for granted on Wednesday night because the Grizzlies are going to be playing to win.
