The Houston Texans never hesitated to roll with C.J. Stroud, and he’s proven they made the right call every single week.
Stroud hasn’t only been the best rookie quarterback in the league this season; he’s also been one of the best quarterbacks overall.
Following his big win over the Cincinnati Bengals, even Skip Bayless had no choice but to tip his hat to him.
In the latest edition of “Undisputed,” the analyst admitted that he didn’t watch any film on Stroud outside of what was shown on television during his days with Ohio State, adding that he never saw this level of consistency during his college career.

He still predicted that Bryce Young would have a better career and added that Stroud has better weapons and a better offensive line, but he still praised Stroud for the way he’s throwing the football, going as far as to compare him to Patrick Mahomes.
Bayless stated that Stroud is letting the football rip all over the field, throwing with poise and velocity and hitting his guys in stride.
He can throw the deep ball or at the intermediate level, and he’s done an elite job at taking care of the football.
Stroud seems like a lock to win the Offensive Rookie of the Year award after what he’s done through the first half of the campaign.
But if he keeps this up, it wouldn’t be much of a surprise to see him also entering the MVP race by the end of the season.
