One thing about Skip Bayless of FOX Sports that never seems to fail is his persistence, especially when it comes to his hot takes that cause a stir, as he always seems to like to play the villain and get professional athletes worked up.

Although nothing will top his crusade to discredit superstar forward LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers for the things he’s done during his Hall-of-Fame-caliber career in the NBA, Bayless seems to be taking aim at veteran forward Draymond Green of the Golden State Warriors.

Recently, which was completely out of the blue, considering the Warriors didn’t even make the NBA playoffs and the postseason is ongoing with the NBA Finals yet to get started, Bayless took a shot at Green by calling him the dirtiest player in league history.

On Friday, Bayless doubled down on his statement about Green being the dirtiest player the NBA has ever seen by taking to Twitter to quote his own tweet from Thursday.

At his core, he’s always been a dirty basketball player. I dive deep on it here: https://t.co/5INsFYyfmX

There’s no doubt that Green has done some questionable things on the basketball court during his playing career with the Warriors, as he’s been suspended multiple times by the league for some ill-advised decisions he’s made and infamous altercations with the likes of James and Rudy Gobert.

However, calling Green the dirtiest player in the league may only show how much Bayless hasn’t paid attention to players in the past who used to throw punches on a regular basis and were out to hurt their opponents physically, like former Detroit Pistons star Bill Laimbeer.

Green doesn’t even compare to the dirty things that Laimbeer used to do on the court during the Bad Boys era of the Pistons, which makes Bayless’ statement a little confusing, to say the least.
