On Wednesday night, the Memphis Grizzlies evened their series against the Los Angeles Lakers but it was what happened afterward that had people talking.
Following the game, Dillion Brooks was asked about playing against and defending LeBron James and he had some harsh words.
After calling James “old”, Brooks said “I poke bears. I don’t respect no one until they come and give me 40 (points).”
A lot of fans and analysts have been digging into Brooks’ insult since Wednesday and it had Skip Bayless very fired up.
“I want LeBron to destroy this man,” Bayless said on Friday’s episode of Undisputed.
“I want LeBron to DESTROY him.”

Calling Brooks’ words “dismissively disrespectful”, Bayless said that he wants James to turn off the nice guy demeanor on Saturday night.
He begged James to make Brooks regret he ever opened his mouth.
Bayless believes that James could really embarrass the young Grizzlies star because “he talks way better than he shoots,” and he “can’t back up any of his words.”
Bayless isn’t alone – many Lakers fans want James to make Brooks’ life miserable.
But there are others who believe that Brooks was laying a trap for James.
They are pleading he be careful in Game 4.
There have been many nights when James has led his team in points and had more than 30 points.
But those big nights don’t always lead to victories.
It’s clear that the Lakers are most likely to win when the whole team gets involved.
If James takes Brooks’ words personally and makes it his mission to have a big night, he could take time and input away from other athletes like Anthony Davis, Austin Reaves, Rui Hachimura, and others.
He could also tire himself out before the series is over.
Perhaps that was Brooks’ plan all along?
James is one of the smartest players in the game.
He will take all of this into consideration before Saturday’s game.
All eyes will be on him to see how he responds to being “poked” by Brooks.
