The Dallas Cowboys enter the 2023 NFL Season with high expectations.

After losing to the San Francisco 49ers in the divisional round of the playoffs, the Cowboys want to stake their claim as a top NFC team.

Several pundits have placed the onus upon Dak Prescott, wanting him to lead this team to a better result.

In a recent segment of “Undisputed,” Skip Bayless discussed what Micah Parsons must do on the defensive side of the ball.

“This year, it’s time for the kid to become a man,” Bayless said.

2023 marks Parsons’ third NFL season.

In just two years, he has been named the Defensive Rookie of the Year, a two-time member of the All-Pro first-team, and a Pro Bowler in both seasons.

However, Bayless believes he needs to step up even more as a leader, to help bring the Cowboys greater success.

As an individual, Parsons’ production decreased in 2022.

He went from 84 total tackles to 65, and his sack total only went up by .5.

Regardless of a potential reason for this downturn in production, Bayless knows Parsons can do better.

Bayless is one of the biggest Cowboys fans in sports media, a lifelong supporter of the team.

While his opinion could be slightly biased, he tends to do a deeper analysis of this organization.

There are several factors at play for the Cowboys in 2023.

If both Parsons and Prescott step up their game as many predict, will the Cowboys finally break through in the playoffs?

The clock is ticking, especially for Prescott.
