The Kansas City Chiefs and Baltimore Ravens will star in a matchup for the ages.
As expected, most people are talking about Patrick Mahomes vs. Lamar Jackson and both offenses, and rightfully so, as we’re talking about two of the best quarterbacks in the game — if not the best quarterbacks in the game.
Nonetheless, that might not be the right approach to this matchup.
At least, according to Skip Bayless.
Talking on Undisputed, the renowned analyst talked about the fact that these two teams happen to have the two best scoring defenses in the entire league.
On top of that, we have a rainy forecast for the game, meaning the football will be slippery and the field will be muddy, so we could be looking at a rather low-scoring affair.
With that in mind, Bayless predicted that the Ravens would take this game 24-14.
“I’m going to drop my score down to 24-14 Baltimore,” Bayless said.

He explained that he could not go against John Harbaugh’s team after watching them dominate winning teams this season, pointing out that they went 6-0 and put up at least 26 points against teams that were at least three games above .500.
The Ravens proved over and over that they know how to match up against winning teams, playing at their highest level when the lights are the brightest, as opposed to other teams that crumble under pressure.
Still, we’re talking about two future Hall of Famers at the quarterback position.
So, as much as the defenses will obviously be a factor, these two guys are capable of picking every single defense on Earth apart.
