The Dallas Mavericks have no more margin for error.
Joe Mazzulla’s team has them against the wall, and a win on Monday night would put an end to the season.
Nonetheless, as difficult a task as they have, Skip Bayless has full trust in Jason Kidd’s troops.
Talking on “Undisputed,” the controversial pundit backed the Mavericks to take care of business at the TD Garden and force Game 6.
He believes the Mavericks are a better team than the Celtics, which is why his faith in the team hasn’t wavered despite facing a 3-1 deficit.
He also pointed out that Kidd turned to his bench more in Game 4 and it clearly worked, so perhaps the Mavs may have found something to give the Celtics a run for their money.

Truth be told, it was surprising to see the Celtics jump to a 3-0 lead, and while they were the better team, they hadn’t been that overwhelmingly superior to be on the verge of a sweep.
On the other hand, the Celtics aren’t as bad as they looked in Game 4 either, and it felt like they were way too confident and thought the Mavericks would come out flat and unprepared to perform.
Now, all momentum is back on Kidd’s team’s side.
The Mavericks know they don’t have anything else to lose at this point.
They’re expected to lose anyways, so why not play freely and without any sort of pressure?
Still, this ring is the Celtics’ to lose at this point.
