The Philadelphia Eagles are limping into the playoffs this year on the heels of three losses in four weeks and they’ll have one final regular season game on the road against a New York Giants team they only beat by eight points two weeks ago.
The outcome of that game, as well as the outcome of the Dallas Cowboys’ game against the Washington Commanders, will decide who wins the NFC East and gets a home playoff game.
Right now, though, the Eagles are playing like a team that shouldn’t even be in the playoffs, and that reality led Fox Sports analyst Skip Bayless to claim Philadelphia won’t even win a playoff game in the postseason regardless of their seed.
“I don’t think they’ll win a [playoff] game,” Bayless said. “It feels like the Eagles have just lost their way.”

Philadelphia has lost huge games to middling teams over the past three games: a 35-31 loss at home to the Arizona Cardinals and a 20-17 last-second loss to the Seattle Seahawks.
They were previously blown out by the Cowboys and San Francisco 49ers in back-to-back games in Weeks 13 and 14 and needed overtime to beat the Buffalo Bills in Week 12.
As Bayless said, this is an Eagles team that can’t figure out how to defend anymore and an offense that needs a perfect game from Jalen Hurts to compete.
The defense has allowed 31.5 points per game over their past six games, which is worse than the 30 points per game the Commanders have allowed all season long.
There isn’t a lot – or any – time left to correct the issues on this team.
