Skip Bayless Names His Sleeper To Win NFL MVP

The Green Bay Packers didn’t need a lot of time to get back on their feet after Aaron Rodgers left.

The front office stated that they were fully confident in Jordan Love’s ability to lead the team to success, and it didn’t take long before he proved them right.

Last season was also a great year for Matt LaFleur, who proved that his success wasn’t strictly tied to his quarterback and deployed a very creative offense.

That’s why it’s not much of a surprise to see Love tied for the fifth-highest odds to win MVP next season.

As of now, he’s tied with Lamar Jackson at +1400, trailing the likes of Patrick Mahomes, CJ Stroud, Josh Allen, and Joe Burrow, respectively.

With that in mind, Skip Bayless claimed that he truly liked him as a dark horse to win it.

Talking on Undisputed, Bayless stated that he was leaning towards picking the Packers to win the NFC, adding that he expects them to be very good next season.

He thinks that Love will have a legitimate chance to win MVP if they end up with the top seed in the NFC, which is pretty self-explanatory and not much of a hot take.

Love was one of the best — if not the best — quarterbacks in the game to close out last season.

And even though the Packers’ wide receivers corps doesn’t feature prominent names, Romeo Doubs and Christian Watson look like studs in the making.

The Packers also added Josh Jacobs and finally got a different defensive coordinator, so don’t sleep on this team in 2024.
