Kevin Durant was finally able to play with Team USA this weekend and proved that he was worth the wait.
The Phoenix Suns star scored 23 points for his team and helped them overcome Nikola Jokic and Team USA at the Paris Olympics.
On Monday’s “Undisputed,” Skip Bayless had nothing but huge praise for Durant.
Calling him “Mr. Olympic” and “him,” Bayless said Durant was exactly what the Americans needed to start things right in Paris.

Durant had taken time off because of a calf injury and there were many questions about him being ready and capable of playing with the Americans during their first game.
When it was announced that he would suit up, there was speculation about how much time he’d get and how effective he’d be.
But Durant showed up and performed as well as people had hoped and expected.
He came off the bench and scored 21 points in a perfect first half, hitting all eight shots including five three-pointers.
He was clearly in great shape and the calf injury wasn’t bothering him at all.
Team USA led the Serbians by nine points at the half and kept their lead strong throughout the second half.
It wasn’t just Curry who was doing incredible work: LeBron James, Steph Curry, and others had strong performances.
But seeing Durant in action and doing so well lifted the hearts of American fans and made a gold medal seem even more possible.
Now Durant will get a couple of days off to rest his body and prepare for another tough game against South Sudan.
