All NBA players are freaks of nature, and we mean that in the best possible way.
That’s why having someone being voted as the best player among a select group of the best players in the league is remarkable.
Add the fact that the said player is about to turn 40 years old to the mix, and it’s even more remarkable.
Considering that, even Skip Bayless, who’s known for his perennial anti-LeBron James takes, had no choice but to tip his hat to the Los Angeles Lakers star.
Talking on Undisputed, he claimed that James getting that many votes as the best player on the roster shouldn’t be overlooked.

He claimed that this competitive fire and the fact that he takes every single game and rep so seriously is exactly why he’s been able to play and stay relevant for so long.
Bayless added that he actually watched the fourth quarter of one of the scrimmages, and James was directing traffic, getting everybody engaged and involved, taking shots, and playing as if it actually mattered.
One can say a lot of things about LeBron James, but his work ethic and love for the game should never be in question.
We’re talking about a player who’s about to enter his 22nd season playing at the highest level, and someone who has never cheated the game of basketball.
Some may not like LeBron, but even his biggest critic has to acknowledge what he’s doing is unprecedented.
