Team USA beat Team Canada on Wednesday night in a highly-anticipated exhibition game just weeks before the start of the Paris Olympics.

Their 86-72 win over Canada was impressive and there were highlights, and lowlights, from the game for Skip Bayless.

On Thursday’s “Undisputed,” Bayless said that he loved the energy he saw from Anthony Edwards, who came off the bench with great enthusiasm.

Edwards led Team USA with his 13 points and helped put the team in the right direction after they trailed 11-1 at the start of the game.

Bayless also had some concerns about Joel Embiid, who he feels is horribly out of shape.

He expected Embiid to have a much bigger impact and is hoping he turns things around before the Olympics begin.

Bayless isn’t the only one questioning Embiid after Wednesday’s game.

Some people are wondering if he is really the right pick for this squad.

He made two field goals and one free throw in his 12 minutes in the game.

To make matters even worse, he fouled out in only the third quarter.

Thankfully for Team USA, Anthony Davis was there to pick up the slack.

Plus, Team Canada isn’t a very large group so the lack of Embiid didn’t hurt the Americans too much, but his absence would be detrimental against a much bigger team.

LeBron James and Steph Curry looked good and combined for 19 points while other players like Jayson Tatum, Devin Booker, and others contributed too.

It was a good night for Team USA but there were definitely some red flags, like Bayless said.

Now the team has to keep working on its chemistry as the Olympics approach.
