The legacy of NBA icon Michael Jordan lives on years after his retirement.
The six-time champion and 14-time All-Star is still talked about as the greatest basketball player of all time.
NBA analyst Skip Bayless took questions from fans on his show and was asked what question he would pose to Jordan.
Bayless’ potential question doesn’t have anything to do with the Finals he played in or the teammates he bonded with.
Instead, it was about an NBA rumor that has been around for years.
Bayless said:
“Is the speculation true that the NBA Commissioner forced you to take almost two seasons away from the NBA in part because you liked to play golf and cards with and against professional gamblers?”

The idea of Jordan being secretly suspended from the league for his gambling habits has been around since the mid-90s.
Jordan sat out of the 1993-94 season after allegedly retiring.
But he was back in the league one season later.
During that time, Jordan stayed busy playing minor league baseball with the Birmingham Barons.
However, many have speculated that he didn’t really retire and instead was playing baseball because he had been suspended from the league for his insistence on gambling.
Anyone can understand why the league wouldn’t want the world to know that the biggest player on Earth was temporarily banned.
A one-year suspension is very severe but if Jordan had repeatedly ignored warnings from the commissioner, it would have made sense.
Of course, even if Bayless had the chance to ask Jordan this, it’s unlikely he would get any sort of response.
If you had the ability to ask His Airness just one question, would it be about an urban legend from his career that has never faded away?
