Skip Bayless thinks Luka Doncic is a road warrior who will get a much-needed win on Thursday night.
On “Undisputed,” Bayless claimed that the Dallas Mavericks will win Game 1 against the Boston Celtics even though the game will be on the road in front of very fired-up and rowdy Boston fans.
He told Paul Pierce that there are many reasons to doubt the Celtics’ potential in this series and made it clear that he thinks the Mavericks can win a championship over them.

Bayless noted that the Celtics have had a cakewalk to the Finals and they have also been resting for a very long time.
Their cakewalk consisted of playing against a short-handed Miami Heat, Cleveland Cavaliers, and Indiana Pacers.
The ease of their recent schedule hasn’t done them any favors, especially because the Mavericks have been battling very difficult, fully healthy teams in the Western Conference.
However, Bayless also said that Doncic is banged up and obviously nursing a knee injury.
Pierce also chimed in and said that the Mavericks have been resting a bit over the last week and that may throw off their rhythm.
But Bayless wasn’t buying it and thinks the Mavericks have shown they can play incredibly well on the road.
As for Doncic, he has proven that he’s fearless and isn’t scared of pushing back against other players or even their fans.
He is ready for the moment, Bayless said.
Most betting sites think the Celtics will win Game 1 and potentially the entire series.
If Bayless is right and the Mavericks secure a win on Thursday night, it’ll be a huge moment that shocks many and gives them a ton of momentum.
