Los Angeles Lakers fans got their first look at Bronny James on the court this weekend as the son of LeBron played in a couple of games during the California Classic.
James played for 22 minutes and scored 4 points, 2 rebounds, and 2 assists in his first game.
Some people said this was less than expected, while others feel that James did quite well in his first Lakers outing.
Speaking on “Undisputed,” Skip Bayless defended James and said he liked a lot of what he saw from the young player.
But he also added that the attention revolving around the Lakers rookie will remain immense and that no matter how he plays, he will receive a ton of praise and criticism.

James only performed in one game before missing the second due to knee swelling.
Should that be something that Lakers fans are worried about?
The team said it’s not a big deal and that James should be playing again soon.
Will he show even more in the upcoming Summer League games?
James didn’t blow a lot of people away during his sole year with USC, partly because he didn’t get to play as much as he wanted due to his serious health issue last summer.
Bayless defended James and said that this run in the Summer League would be his true debut and finally give people the ability to see him play.
Expectations will be high for James and he needs to get used to that because he is going to face them constantly during his entire rookie year and beyond.
Bayless liked what he saw from James but he definitely wants to see a lot more.
