The New York Knicks just made a big splash.
Tom Thibodeau’s team added one of the ultimate iron men, a durable guy who never misses a game and who puts his body on the line on every possession, particularly on the defensive end of the floor.
Needless to say, that checks all of Thib’s boxes, and Mikal Bridges figures to be a seamless fit for his team.
Nonetheless, as better as they might be today as they were yesterday, Skip Bayless still doesn’t think they have enough to take down the Boston Celtics.
In the latest edition of Undisputed, the controversial analyst stated that as much as he loves the Knicks’ intangibles, grittiness, physicality, and whatnot, he just doesn’t love the tangibles.

Per Bayless, talent is king, which is why he rated the Knicks as a 2 on a scale of 10 to be a threat to the Celtics in the Eastern Conference.
Of course, all that talk about the Celtics being deeper and more talented makes plenty of sense, but the Knicks are a bigger threat than just a ‘2.’
The Knicks are a gritty and physical defensive team that happens to be coached by one of the greatest defensive minds in modern basketball.
And while they might still lack another scorer, they will get Julius Randle back and Jalen Brunson has proven to be one of the best offensive guards in today’s game.
The Celtics are still better and the team to beat, but it’s not like the new-look Knicks are so many steps below them — or anybody else.
