After a short stint with the Philadelphia 76ers, which ended in an ugly divorce and messy situation with general manager Daryl Morey, superstar guard James Harden was given the opportunity to start fresh with his hometown Los Angeles Clippers.
Despite causing a fuss while with the 76ers and making it difficult for them to make a trade, Harden eventually got his wish to play for the Clippers and return home to Los Angeles.
The blockbuster trade was thought to be a game-changer for the Clippers, who already had three proven star players, like Russell Westbrook, Kawhi Leonard, and Paul George.
The Clippers’ roster, with four superstars, was one of the most intimidating in the league, with many believing they had what it took to win it all this year.
Unfortunately for the Clippers, things fell apart in the NBA playoffs, with Leonard unable to stay healthy and the rest of the team folding against Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks in the first round.
In the aftermath of being knocked out in the playoffs, Skip Bayless of FOX Sports didn’t hold back in his criticism of Harden, via “The Skip Bayless Show.”
“He’s just a loser,” Bayless said. “He’s just the biggest loser.”
“He’s just a loser. He’s just the biggest loser.”

Bayless believes that Harden simply can’t come through in the biggest moments of the postseason and, therefore, dubs him a “loser” who can’t win it all.
Although Bayless isn’t entirely wrong in his assessment, that is a bold statement to make about a former NBA MVP and one of the best scorers the league has ever seen.
However, it is not beyond the realm of possibility that Harden plays his entire career without having playoff success and becomes a tragic figure because he never gets it done when his team needs him the most.
