It’s been a wild season for the Los Angeles Lakers.
Just a couple of weeks ago, they were talking about championship banners after winning the inaugural In-Season Tournament.
Now, they can’t seem to stop anybody, and even though they’ve suffered multiple injuries throughout the course of the season, they just seemed overwhelmed by the pressure.
Their body language is off, coach Darvin Ham continues to put all the blame on the players, citing a ‘lack of effort,’ and LeBron James doesn’t even want to address the media.
That’s why sports pundit Skip Bayless took to Twitter to call them out after yet another loss, this time to the Memphis Grizzlies.
“The same Lakers who won the In-Season Tourney and raised the banner for it has now fallen to 17-19 and 11th in the West, one rung below the final play-in berth. Just disgraceful,” Bayless said.

Bayless claimed that the Lakers are now a ‘disgraceful’ team after falling to 17-19, just one spot below the final play-in berth.
He also stated that as much as they’ve been hurt by injuries, they’ve also failed to lock down on defense over the past couple of weeks.
There have been some concerning reports about the alleged ‘disconnect’ between the Lakers and coach Ham, and it’s far from surprising at this point.
Ham has failed to make timely and effective adjustments, and the team’s body language is way off.
It all starts with their leader, LeBron, who made his frustrations more than evident during this rough stretch, and it’s hard to keep the rest of the team motivated.
They still have a chance to turn things around, but there’s a big feeling that it’s just a matter of time before this team goes through some major changes.
