The Oklahoma City Thunder are a resilient team.

They proved it again by coming back from a 14-point deficit against the Dallas Mavericks on the road.

Mark Daigneault’s team was on the verge of dropping three straight and getting their backs against the wall with a 1-3 deficit.

That’s why Skip Bayless wanted to give the team their flowers for not backing down and getting the job done.

Talking on “Undisputed,” he stated that people need to stop underestimating and overlooking the Thunder, as this is what they’ve done all year long.

He talked about how they led the NBA in double-digit comebacks this season, not to mention the fact that they won 50-plus games.

For whatever reason, some people aren’t impressed by this team.

That makes no sense, considering they didn’t even make the playoffs last season, and they have three legitimate young stars in Shai Gilgeous-Alexander — who was an MVP finalist — Chet Holmgren, and Jalen Williams.

The Thunder might not be ready to go all the way just yet, but that doesn’t mean their recent success was a fluke.

They’re 6-2 in eight playoff games, including a first-round sweep of the New Orleans Pelicans, and we’re talking about a team that some analysts didn’t even think would be in the playoffs this season.

You don’t just stumble upon the No. 1 seed, especially not in the stacked Western Conference, which is significantly tougher than the East.

It’s time to give credit where it’s due, and this team deserves all the credit in the world, even if this is the end of the line for them.
