Skip Bayless has made many critical comments about LeBron James over the years but he clearly still respects the Los Angeles Lakers legend.
He is very intrigued by James and admitted on his show that he’d perhaps write a book about him someday.
Bayless called James “the most interesting man in all of sports” and potentially “the most interesting man in the history of sports” because there is a “backstory” and “sub-plot” to every game James participates in.
Bayless doesn’t foresee James ever sitting down for a one-on-one interview with him but could still write a great book about James, his life, his career, and his place in sports history.

If Bayless does decide to write a book about James, he will join a lengthy list of other authors who have done the same.
So much ink has already been used on James but there will be many more books written about him in the years ahead, especially after he retires and his place in NBA history becomes more clear.
Bayless would be an intriguing choice to write about James, partly because of his many critical comments about the four-time champion.
He is a talented commentator and author and the concept of him writing about James would garner a ton of attention from fans.
James’ story is worth telling because he changed the game and became the biggest name in sports at a very young age.
But his tale isn’t done yet, especially since he just signed a new deal with the Lakers and will play for at least two more years.
