There is no doubt that Team USA is the odds-on favorite to win the gold medal at the upcoming Paris Olympics.
But just because they have the best chance of going all the way doesn’t mean they won’t have some serious challenges.
There are numerous teams that have a lot of talent and they will all fight to steal the gold from the Americans.
On Wednesday’s “Undisputed,” Skip Bayless said he isn’t 100% sold on Team USA and can imagine an opposing team beating them.
He said that is because Olympic basketball is “a different flavor of basketball” and the door is open for some mistakes that could cost them dearly.

Team USA is populated by the best NBA players around.
Kevin Durant, LeBron James, Steph Curry, Anthony Edwards, Devin Booker, Jayson Tatum, Anthony Davis, and others have all agreed to play, raising the skill and star power of the group.
With that being said, there are other amazing NBA stars who will be in the Olympics, but they’ll be playing for opposing teams.
The league is filled with many international stars who have never been better and they are ready to make their home countries proud.
Players like Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Nikola Jokic, Victor Wembanyama, and Dennis Schroder are just some of the other stars battling for gold.
Beyond that, playing Olympic-style basketball is different from a regular NBA game and Team USA will have to adjust to that.
They may experience a steep learning curve, which could lead to more fouls and mistakes.
They are still favorites but Team USA might not cruise to the gold medal without some obstacles.
