The Dallas Cowboys have got their groove back, putting together three impressive wins after a narrow loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.
So, after watching them dominate the Washington Commanders on Thanksgiving, renowned sports pundit and well-known Cowboys fan Skip Bayless took to Twitter with a rather bold statement.
Bayless stated that he’s looking forward to a rematch with the San Francisco 49ers, even if it has to be in the Bay area, adding that they’re a completely different team from the one who got routed 42-10 earlier in the season, as they have ‘found themselves.’
I sure hope the Cowboys get to play the 49ers again, even if it has to be there. We are a completely different team than the one that lost at SF 42-10. We have found ourselves.

Truth be told, Bayless has a point there.
The Cowboys aren’t the same team they were in Week 5.
Dak Prescott is playing at an MVP-caliber level, and their defense has taken a major leap forward, with DaRon Bland becoming one of the biggest threats in the game.
Also, they looked quite well in that close loss to the Eagles.
Then again, the same can be said of the Niners.
They added another key player to their juggernaut by trading for Chase Young, and they’re peaking at the right time.
On top of that, as impressive as the Cowboys have been over the past month or so, we also have to acknowledge that the three blowout wins have come against the likes of the New York Giants, Carolina Panthers, and Washington Commanders.
The Niners still seem to be slightly above them in terms of contention, but it shouldn’t take long before we get to see a rematch, this time in the postseason.
