The NFL season has 17 regular-season games, so teams have 17 chances to win at least one game.
However, a bettor seems to think — or hope — that the 2024 Dallas Cowboys will not win a game next season.
As pointed out by FanDuel Sportsbook on Twitter, someone actually placed a bet on the Cowboys going 0-17 next season.
The $1 wager would result in a $1,001 payout if it were to hit.

Granted, the Cowboys aren’t exactly a better team now than they were last season, and they do have a tough schedule, but having them go winless might be a bit of a stretch, especially with an additional regular-season game.
Their win total is projected at 10.5, and they should at least be in the mix to make the playoffs as the second-best team in the NFC East Division behind the Philadelphia Eagles.
They’ll face the Washington Commanders and New York Giants twice, as well with a date with the Carolina Panthers, so it’s hard to envision them not winning at least one of those games.
They might not have legitimate Super Bowl aspirations after some of the players they lost in the offseason, but even the biggest Cowboys critic should be able to admit that they’re most definitely not going to go winless.
