After parting ways with longtime head coach Mike Vrabel and letting superstar running back Derrick Henry walk in NFL free agency, the Tennessee Titans were thought to be heading into a rebuilding process with young quarterback Will Levis leading the way.
However, after a couple of moves made during the NFL offseason, it seemed as though the Titans were headed in the other direction. They were able to bring in running back Tony Pollard to replace Henry and add Calvin Ridley to the receiving corps while also re-signing DeAndre Hopkins, who everyone seemed to think was headed elsewhere.
Tennessee now has the potential to become a high-powered offense with these added weapons, especially if Levis can take another step forward in his development.
But that plan took a step back with Hopkins suffering a knee injury at training camp.
According to Titans insider Paul Kuharsky, Hopkins will miss 4-6 weeks with a knee strain, via The Draft Network.

That timeline obviously doesn’t bode well for the start of the season in the first week of September.
During the 2023 NFL season, Hopkins played in all 17 regular-season games and caught 75 passes for 1,057 receiving yards and seven touchdowns, which was his best season in recent years.
Hopefully, Hopkins can make a quick recovery and get back on the field as soon as possible, giving the Titans a boost in the receiving corps while being teammates with Ridley.
