Ever since trading for Anthony Davis, the Los Angeles Lakers have been waiting for the former first-overall pick to take over the team from LeBron James.
While Davis displayed shades of stardom during the 2019-20 NBA season when the Lakers won the NBA Championship, he has struggled to stay consistent ever since.
However, the one-time NBA champion has seemingly found his touch over the last three games for the Lakers, as revealed via StatMuse on Twitter.

As mentioned in the tweet, Davis has averaged 28.3 points, 14.3 rebounds, and 2.3 blocks per game for the Lakers in his last three appearances.
Davis’ impact is clear on the Lakers, as the organization has won two out of their last three games.
The most recent win for the Lakers came against the Phoenix Suns in the quarter-finals of the NBA In-Season Tournament.
In the 106-103 win, Davis recorded 27 points, 15 rebounds, 1 assist, and 2 blocks for the Lakers in the close game.
Thanks to Davis’ performance, the Lakers have advanced to the semifinals of the inaugural NBA In-Season Tournament.
For the season, Davis is now averaging 23.0 points, 12.6 rebounds, and 3.1 assists per game.
While these are excellent numbers from the veteran superstar, the Lakers know Davis can take his numbers to another level if he plays consistently throughout the season.
