The Los Angeles Lakers had a terrific first-round series against the Memphis Grizzlies.

Despite being the No. 7 seed in the Western Conference, they dominated their rivals.

The Grizzlies tried to bully them, but the Lakers never folded, ultimately taking the win in six games.

While many believed that LeBron James would lead the team, especially in scoring, the truth is that James only did it in one game.

Stats show that the Lakers had five different scoring leaders in six games.

Rui Hachimura took over in Game 1, dropping 29.

LeBron, ironically, led them in points with 28 in the second game, which they lost.

Anthony Davis posted 31 in Game 3, while Austin Rivers added 23 in the next match. Davis scored 31 in the blowout loss in Game 5.

D’Angelo Russell went off in Game 6 to close the deal in the 40-point win over the Grizzlies.

Contrary to last season, the Lakers have found flow in their offense, playing at a high level after the trade deadline.

Darvin Ham has turned things around and fans couldn’t be happier about it.

This team wasn’t expected to be alive at this point but they beat the odds.

Now, they’re waiting for their rivals in the second round of the playoffs.

Either the Golden State Warriors or Sacramento Kings will face them next round.

The challenge is bigger now, but the Lakers are confident they can get those wins.

And the best part? They’re not relying on LeBron James to lead them every night.
