The Philadelphia Eagles trusted Jalen Hurts when no one else did.
Fans and analysts often urged the team to just move on from him and get someone else in the NFL Draft or free agency.
Instead, Howie Roseman doubled down on him and got him yet another prime weapon in A.J. Brown.
It didn’t take long before he decided to put an end to all speculation about his future, signing him to a huge contract extension.
However, Hurts fell short of the expectations and couldn’t keep the pace up after his breakout season two years ago.
That’s why the fans must be very excited about him ahead of this season, as it seems like he’s going to be the best version we’ve seen of him yet.
According to Eagles beat writer Eliot Shorr-Parks, Hurts has had his best training camp ever, and it’s not even close.

Apparently, he’s logged his most completions on the highest completion percentage he’s ever had, all while being tied for the most touchdowns while throwing the fewest interceptions he’s ever had at this point in the offseason.
Hurts was reportedly quite banged up in the second half of last season.
He’s not dealing with any sort of ailment now, and that could be a huge difference.
The Eagles are obliged to compete at the highest level, and Nick Sirianni’s seat could get blazing hot if they don’t hit the ground running in 2024.
Fortunately for them, it seems like their quarterback will be a man on a mission.
