The Golden State Warriors were dominated by the Los Angeles Lakers in Game 6.

The team couldn’t make shots when it mattered the most and struggled for much of the series with consistency.

Klay Thompson belongs in that group, as he mightily struggled in the last three games of this series.

Game 4: 9 points
Game 5: 10 points
Game 6: 8 points

This was a very bad series for Thompson. He struggled to find any kind of rhythm.

Many believed that Thompson was pressing too hard.

Thompson refuted this and said that his shots simply didn’t fall.

“I don’t think I was pressing. I just think shots didn’t fall.”

It is now being reported that the Warriors are expected to ask Thompson to take a pay cut on his next contract extension.

Just like Thompson, Jordan Poole was another player who struggled in this series, recording more fouls than field goals in the last five games of this series.

This is shocking, but it also shows that Poole wasn’t the same player as last year.

The Warriors’ future now has a lot of question marks.

Steve Kerr admitted that this wasn’t a championship group, especially after all the things they endured during the season.

The Lakers season has seen the opposite as they are now looking like a team that could win the NBA championship.
