The Indiana Pacers surprised and impressed many when they stormed past the Milwaukee Bucks in the first round of the playoffs.

That was a full team effort and multiple players were doing great work during the series.

But some of them have been struggling lately, especially Pascal Siakam.

According to StatMuse, Siakam’s output has dwindled in the last six games.

In the first two games of the postseason, he was averaging 365. points and 12 rebounds.

However, in the last six, he has put up 15.7 points and 7.3 rebounds.

He isn’t doing as well as he was and the Pacers are feeling it.

The Pacers have now lost two games in a row, taken down by the New York Knicks.

As for Siakam, he hasn’t been helping as much as the team hoped he would.

He scored 19 points in the first game and 14 in the second but his field goal percentage was particularly bad in Game 2, going just 7-of-18.

That just isn’t enough, especially for someone who averaged 21.7 points and 7.1 rebounds in the regular season.

The Pacers are now in a very tough position and have a huge task ahead of them, needing to climb out of a 0-2 hole.

That is hard under the best of circumstances but it’s almost impossible if their greatest players aren’t producing a lot.

Siakam’s problems started before this second series began but they will need to end immediately if the Pacers hope to win.

Their series is now heading to Indiana, so hopefully the home-court crowd will fire up Siakam and he’ll be able to shake out of the rut he’s been in.
