The Golden State Warriors took one more step toward the Western Conference Finals on Wednesday night, beating the Los Angeles Lakers, 121-106.

The series now sits at 3-2 in LA’s favor.

If Golden State is able to overcome a seemingly insurmountable deficit, it’ll be because Stephen Curry continues to play as he has been.

As noted by StatMuse, Curry has averaged 30.3 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 6.1 assists a game in the playoffs so far.

He is leading the league in points and threes during the postseason.

To see Curry playing well in the postseason is not surprising considering he is a four-time champion and one of the most accomplished players of all time.

But it is still impressive to see him lead the entire league in these ways at 35 years old.

On Wednesday night, Curry went off with 27 points and 8 assists.

And while he shot just 3-of-11 from the three-point line, he still led his team with points from downtown.

Because of his 27 points and the leadership he provided, the Warriors were able to secure a must-win game.

Now the series moves back to Los Angeles where the Lakers are hoping to close things out.

Curry will need to post another impressive total if he hopes to give the Warriors a Game 7.

The problem is that Golden State has a very bad track record on the road this season.

Curry might perform very well in Friday night’s game yet the Warriors could still lose if the rest of the team doesn’t play incredibly too.

The Warriors are still facing elimination.

It will take another expert performance from Curry and the rest of the crew to keep their season alive.
