Even the most optimistic Golden State Warriors fans have been asking the same thing recently: what is going on with Klay Thompson?
As pointed out by NBACentral, Thompson has averaged just 11 points on 30.9% from the field and just 28.2% from the three-point line during the last six games.
Unsurprisingly, the Warriors are 0-6 during this painful stretch for the five-time All-Star.

On Saturday night, Thompson posted 16 points, 2 rebounds, and 4 assists during his team’s overtime loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder.
He posted just 5-of-13 from the field and 3-of-9 from beyond the arc.
Some fans pointed out that he looked rushed and sloppy at times, attempting the sort of desperate shots that he usually doesn’t try.
Statistically, Thompson is having one of the worst seasons of his career.
He is currently averaging 14 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 2.1 assists.
Last season, those numbers were 21.9 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 2.4 assists.
But it’s his field goal percentage that is most shocking, as the 40% he has right now is literally the worst he has ever posted since joining the NBA more than a decade ago.
His 33% three-point percentage is also a career-low.
For some players, 40% isn’t too bad but Thompson was once known as one of the hottest shooters in the league and one-half of the unstoppable Splash Brothers.
Today, it is abundantly clear that something isn’t right with him, especially during these last six games.
The good news is that Thompson, and the entire team, can bounce back.
Thompson has only played 13 games so far and there is plenty of time to get back in good shape and rebound from this rut.
Of course, there is also the chance that this dry streak will continue, and that could create a huge nightmare for the Warriors,
