Steelers Fans Calling For NFL Legend To Come Out Of Retirement

The Pittsburgh Steelers are one of the most historic teams in the NFL.

They have a rich history of success, although, they haven’t climbed to the top of the proverbial mountain top in some time.

Despite never falling under .500 during Mike Tomlin’s reign as head coach, the Steelers haven’t been able to gain much traction in the postseason lately.

The Steelers always seem to have a great defense, but their offense has been a factor that has held them back.

For instance, they have plenty of stars on defense, including T.J. Watt, but are lacking the same luster on offense.

Watt continues to be one of the best players on this team, and his brother, J.J., recently watched his brother and the team practice.

J.J. posted a picture of himself and T.J. at practice, which gave fans an idea.

Glorious day for some football in Pittsburgh.

Slight chill in the air, pads poppin, season just around the corner.

So much pride watching @_TJWatt work, talking ball with the boys, being on the grass again.

Thanks for letting me hang out for a few days @steelers pic.twitter.com/Mz5DuzTDwp

Despite J.J. never playing a snap for the Steelers, fans thought he might as well stick around for a bit, maybe play a few games for them this year.

You should hang out longer. Maybe get a locker and a uniform?

Listen. You can tell me. You’re coming to play with brother. I won’t tell don’t worry!

Make it happen, play alongside the future goat!

Why does it have to be only a few days??? Why not stay for an entire season or two??

You could hang out all season if you wanted @JJWatt pretty sure Coach T and Omar would sign you in a second if you wanted to come back to the field lol

If these fan reactions are any indication, J.J. would be welcomed to Pittsburgh with open arms.

He is seen as one of the best defenders in the NFL over the past decade, a dominant force when he was on the field.

J.J. is a likely first-ballot Hall of Famer, and his legacy will live on for the foreseeable future.

He does appear to be in great shape, so if he wanted to come back and play for the Steelers, it wouldn’t be out of the question from a physical perspective.
