With more and more athletes joining the broadcasting and podcast space, the NBA has seen a massive uptick in current and former players hosting their own shows.
JJ Redick got the ball rolling as an active player, with Quentin Richardson and Darius Miles pioneering their Knuckleheads podcast.
Now, the NBA podcast ecosystem features the likes of Draymond Green, LeBron James, Matt Barnes, Stephen Jackson, Gilbert Arenas, Carmelo Anthony, Patrick Beverley, etc.
With that in mind, it’s not much of a surprise to see that Stephen Curry also wants to take part in the action.
According to a report by Marc J. Spears, Steph and his father, Dell, will host a podcast produced by Unanimous Media.
The podcast will be called Heat Check and will debut on June 13th
It will reportedly “pull back the curtain on their family’s journey, told through the lens of a father and son, while talking about the biggest names throughout NBA history.”

Steph literally grew up among NBA players and playing on NBA courts.
While he was never the most sought-after prospect in the game, he must have seen things worth telling, and it’ll be interesting to know stories about his upbringing as an NBA son.
Also, being overlooked and underrated for most of his life, he surely has plenty of receipts and people to hit back at now that he’s got that platform and is considered to be the greatest shooter to ever grace the face of the Earth.
That’s the kind of content we could all buy in on.
