The Golden State Warriors kept their playoff hopes alive on Thursday night as they scored a big victory over the Sacramento Kings and brought the opening round record to 2-1.
They still have a long way to go to claim ultimate victory but they are at least pointed in the right direction for the first time in this postseason.
After Thursday’s impressive win, Stephen Curry touched upon the team’s accomplishment and the hard work of big man Kevon Looney, who posted 4 points, 20 rebounds, and 9 assists during the game.
“He’s relentless,” Curry said about Looney, remarking on just how incredible it was to watch the young man reach a new level.

When you look at the numbers, you can’t help but be impressed by Looney’s hard work.
However, watching him in action gives you a much better understanding of just how important he was.
He had a tough task: stopping Domantas Sabonis.
Throughout the night, Looney made life very hard for Sabonis, who looked frustrated and also created six turnovers.
It is true that Looney only had 4 points but the rebounds speak for themselves and the fierce determination he showed all night long really helped his team put up a fight and stay strong against the intense offense of Sacramento.
All of this was achieved without Draymond Green, who was sitting out one game due to a suspension.
Now fans of the team are wondering what’s possible with Green returning and Looney performing so well.
Looney gave his team a ton of rebounds on Thursday night but he also gave the fans something very important: hope.
