There are very few sporting events that have as much pageantry as the Olympics.
The games start with an elaborate ceremony, which kicks off a period of time that unites countries, no matter what is happening around the world.
Sports have a way of doing that.
Fans come together to root for a common goal, as has been the case for Americans cheering for Team USA in every sport.
There has been a lot of focus on the men’s basketball team, as they have assembled one of their most impressive rosters in history.
This roster has a mix of young and old players, who all bring unique characteristics to the table.
While the young players have gotten some opportunities to shine, it has been the veterans to take over, especially in their most recent win over Serbia.
Steph Curry had an impressive 36-point game, and he was glowing with excitement in the aftermath of his performance.
As Curry told reporters, shared by NBC Olympics via Clutch Points on Twitter, “This is the most fun I’ve had in a very long time, to dig deep like we did with this group and get a win, it’s special.”

At times, Curry looked like a young basketball player during this win.
He always had a smile on his face, and when you’re hitting shots from as far out as he did, it’s hard to do anything else.
Team USA has one more task on their agenda, which is to take down France in the gold medal game, their fifth in as many Olympics.
