The Golden State Warriors made a big move to appease their fans.
Stephen Curry had taken them off their bio, and with his newly developed rapport with LeBron James, it didn’t take long before speculation arose online.
Many analysts speculated that Curry could join the Los Angeles Lakers.
So, Mike Dunleavy Jr. put an end to that speculation by giving him a short-term contract extension.
Now, the legendary point guard can focus on enjoying the rest of the offseason with that issue already out of the way.
With that in mind, he was spotted at the Big Apple to watch the New York Mets take on the Boston Red Sox at Citi Field, and he linked up with Carmelo Anthony there (via ClutchPoints).

Melo has been very active now that he’s retired from the NBA, even attending the Olympics in Paris to watch Team USA bring home the gold.
It’s a shame to see that one of the best scorers of all time and one of the best players of his generation had to retire without winning a championship.
But more than that, it’s sad to see that he didn’t get to walk away from the game on his own terms.
He proved that he was willing to embrace a lesser role and even come off the bench.
But once the league makes up their mind about a player, there’s just no coming back.
