The Golden State Warriors have plenty of adjustments to make ahead of the upcoming season.
With Klay Thompson gone and Andrew Wiggins also potentially on his way out, the young players will have to step in and step up for Steve Kerr’s team.
Fortunately for them, it seems like Coach Kerr has pulled a couple of strings to make sure two of their young stars get the reps and quality minutes they need in the offseason, having Trayce Jackson-Davis and Brandin Podziemski suit up for Team USA’s Select Team and getting to practice against some of the best players in the league.
With that in mind, Stephen Curry tipped his hat to his second-year teammates, adding that he was glad that they got an opportunity to work on some stuff during the summer.
Curry also claimed that Podziemski was the most competitive player he had ever met, which is a lot to say, considering how many years he’s been in the league (via PodzMuse).

While not a star, Podziemski had an outstanding season by a rookie standard last year.
He proved that he could be trusted with a bigger role almost right away, and he even earned the starting shooting guard spot at one point in the season.
Podziemski thrived on and off the ball as a three-level scorer, served as a facilitator, had some big games, and even showed some promise on the defensive end of the floor.
Now, he’ll have to make the most of that competitive drive to take another leap in his second year in the league.
