Stephen Curry climbed his way up the Mt. Rushmore of legendary NBA point guards.
Whether you have him at No. 1, No. 2, or anywhere in the rankings, few people could argue that he’s earned a spot among the best.
However, in another world, there’s a chance that Curry would’ve never played for the Golden State Warriors.
In fact, in an alternate world, he could’ve been a professional in an entirely different sport.
Recently, FIBA asked Team USA players what other sport they could thrive in, and Curry didn’t hesitate to say ‘golfing’ (Via ClutchPoints).
Reporter: “Which other sport could you be successful in?”
Steph Curry: “Golf.”
Kevin Durant: “Swimming.”
Anthony Edwards: “Swimming.”
Devin Booker: “Honestly none of them.”

Truth be told, this is far from a surprise, as we’ve seen him dominate during the offseason, and he’s even won some tournaments.
Of course, basketball is Curry’s bread and butter and actual livelihood, so that’s where he spends the bulk of his time and preparation.
But who knows? Perhaps when he’s done hooping — which, hopefully, won’t for a very, very long time — he could pursue a career as a golfer as well.
Throughout the course of history, multiple NBA players and athletes overall have enjoyed golf.
It’s not easy to excel at one sport, let alone even consider competing in a different one.
But Deion Sanders and Bo Jackson, among others, have done it, so someone might be able to do it again at some point in the future.
