The Splash Brothers are no more.
Klay Thompson just signed a new deal to join the Dallas Mavericks, meaning his historic and league-changing partnership with Steph Curry is done.
To celebrate the years they had together, Curry posted an emotional Instagram story Tuesday morning, according to NBC Sports.
In the story, Curry shared plenty of pictures of himself with Thompson, showing how they spent so much time together over the years on the way to four championships.

There was a time when the idea of Curry and Thompson not playing together felt beyond far-fetched.
Both players have only played for the Warriors and they quite literally transformed the team and the league in some major ways.
They worked magically together, securing their championships and earning a massive amount of three-pointers.
They were seen as the best duo in the NBA for years and will forever be considered a historic pair that will never be forgotten.
Over the last several seasons, Thompson has run into some problems and experienced difficulty shooting as he had in the past.
He drifted away from the team’s front office but not Curry, who he still views as a brother in many ways.
Now Curry and Thompson will be opponents, which will be a wild change that NBA fans will need to get used to.
But this social media post from Curry proves that they will always remain close to each other no matter where they go in the league and in life.
